El año pasado realicé este par de carteles para dos concursos.
El primero era para la 18ª Edición de la
Semana de la Ciencia, y la temática tenía que estar relacionada con el “Año
Internacional de la Cooperación en la Esfera del Agua” y/o el 90ª aniversario
de la visita de Albert Einstein a Catalunya. En la composición se muestra el
personaje de Einstein, (hecho a partir de un modelo de Daz 3d y acabado en 3ds
Max) gravitando en un paisaje intemporal, surrealista y acuático. Aparecen como
referencias la “Torre del Rellotge” símbolo del puerto de Barcelona en 1923,
cuando Einstein visitó Barcelona y recorrió el puerto en una canoa, también
representada en el cartel.
Last year I make this pair of posters for two
contests.
The first one was about the 18th edition of the
Science Week, and the topic had to be related with the "International Year of Cooperation on the water field" and /or
the 90th anniversary of the visit of Albert Einstein to Catalonia. In the composition is showed the Einstein's character, (done from a Daz 3d
model and finished with 3ds Max) in state of gravity over an intemporal, a
little surrealistic and aquatic landscape. There also appears some references
to the "Clock Tower", a symbol of the Barcelona seaport in 1923, the
year that Albert Einstein visited Barcelona and toured the seaport in a canoe,
that is also represented on the poster.
El segundo cartel tenía que dar a conocer una
nueva edición de una reunión científica, enfocada al campo de la Oftalmología,
y la temática y título escogido para el cartel fue: “De primera”, en referencia
a la excelencia y perfección en todos los órdenes de la vida, y en cirugía
ocular.
La inclusión de la imagen de la “Dama de Elche”,
un antiguo busto de la escultura ibérica, era obligatoria.
The second picture has to make known a new
edition of a scientific meeting, focused on Ophthalmology. The topic and the
title chosen were "De Primera" (translated, "First Class").
This was a reference of the excellence and perfection in all order of life and
concretely, in ocular surgery. The inclusion of the image of the "Lady of Elche", an ancient Iberian sculpture bust, was necessary.
